A while ago I made my third project "Pongout". It's the worst game I've ever made which is why it doesn't deserve it's own post, but it was very helpful in expanding my knowledge in programming.

I've also just recently finished the best game I've ever made: Finale, named for the reason stated in the title. It has many particles and not advanced AI and pathfinding. I don't want to give away too much as experiencing it will be better that way. But as usual, here are some screen shots:

Both games can be found on the downloads page.

Also it should be noted that these games are supposed to be able to save and load high scores, but once I exported them into apps they were no longer to do so correctly, and I'm too lazy to care. Just write it down on a note or something ya hippie.

For my second project of ICS4U, I had to make a game like the old atari asteroids game. This game introduces my knowledge of classes in programming, push/pop, and more parallax 3d graphics. All instructions for the game are in the game's info screen as per usual. Have fun!

For my first project of ICS4U, I had to make yet another Frogger game. This time it actually runs well, you can change the window size, and even go fullscreen (still a bit buggy though). I really don't feel like typing, so here's some screenshots (notice the 1080p) of the game and a download link. All instructions for the game are in the game's info screen. Have fun!

For my final project in ICS3U, we could create any game we wanted, so after many ideas and changes of gameplay, this is what I have created. You play as an unknown, unnamed silhouette of an entity that has the fate of a puppet. It’s life saver and destroyer is you, the controller. It relies 100% on what you do and how you do it. Equipped with the S.M.T.I. (spider monkey transportation initiator), destroy and transport your way from finish to end of in order to come closer, or perhaps further away from your exit.

Download link is on the Downloads page.

As usual, here are some screenshots:

For my 3rd and final assignment before my major project, we had to create a game that is somewhat like Pacman in a sense. And so, I did almost just that with characters from homestarrunner.com to make it more enjoyable and bring back those good memories of early internet cartoons that have since faded away... until now!

In this game, you play as Trogdor the Burninator and you, of course, burninate stuff. Stomp on peasants, scorch knights, and remove real estate with your fiery breath. If that doesn't sound fun enough, I've added 4 modes that you can play with in any combination! Also, this game has infinite levels like my other game, Crows, almost had!

As per usual, read my Notes page if you run into any difficulties getting the game to play.

Enjoy! and here are some screenshots:

For my second assignment in ICS3U, we had to recreate a game that played like frogger. I did exactly that, but of course made it look nothing like frogger.

In Frojr, you control a girl named Frojr. You must save your teddy bear, Hedig, from the owner of the land you lost Hedig in. The owner's name is Winston Wilson, and he hates it when anyone moves something that he has placed.

Traverse very flat land, look around with your flashlight, and move around somewhat difficult obstacles to retrieve your teddy bear back. Don't die or wander too far!

You can download the game by clicking here.

Requirements:
-Ability to unzip files
-Java (latest version recommended)
-At least 2ghz processor speed
-50mb of RAM (if you can't get 50mb of RAM, please leave the 1980s)
-Windows operating system

Recommended:
-If it's hard to see, change the settings on your monitor
-Audio
-A dark place to play

Notice:
Every time you close the application by pressing the top right X, a Java error dump will be created in a .txt file in whatever folder you have the .exe. You can just delete it. In order to have no error .txt files made, just press ESC instead of clicking the upper right X.

Below are a few screenshots from my game.

I updated Crows to version 1.2
This adds:

-Fix to the fire not resetting correctly after dying
-Fix to pink borders around the screen after dying on some monitors
-Fix to the level text turning darker after a new level is reached
-Some code modifications
-Added text stating what each level adds when a new level is reached
-Added a credits screen
-Removed the Crows shortcut

Click here to download Crows v.1.2

Reminders:
-This game only works on Windows
-You must update to the latest java to prevent any errors. You can update it by clicking here.
-Run the Crows.exe in the Crows folder to start playing!

Hello there! For an ICS3U (Computer Science) assignment I created an original game called "Crows"

Since I don't want to give away the majority of the plot that took hundreds of hours to write, I'll let you just learn it for yourself. But I will tell you that you are a worm on a quest to survive the longest he can in a world being progressively taken over by heavy metal.

(When you download it the shortcut may or may not work. If it doesn't, just use the "Crows" .exe in the "Crows" folder.)

Also, if you get an error, make sure you have the latest Java from: http://www.java.com/en/download/win8.jsp?locale=en

As of right now, this only works on Windows PCs. Sorry for the inconvenience ya Mac-using-hipsters.

Here's a few screenshots:
